Steamed Broccoli

One of the best thing about eating steamed broccoli is that you can eat unlimited servings and pretty much not get fat (any weight gain the following day is water weight and your body will ex-spell it). If I’m not eating broccoli steamed, then I usually blend 1/2 a head with my Paleo Detox Shake to get my 5 servings of veggies per day.

Steamed Broccoli

Servings: 1


  • 1 head of broccoli
  • Sea salt


  1. Wash and rinse your broccoli.
  2. Cut the broccoli into bite size chunks.
  3. Bring a pan with 3/4 inch of water to a boil with the cut broccoli.
  4. Boil for 4 to 5 minutes or until the broccoli is fork tender. The broccoli should turn a brighter shade of green when they’re cooked perfectly.
  5. Enjoy!
